What it is

With Abandoned cart recovery, your ecommerce tells yavendió! when a cart is abandoned and your customer gets a WhatsApp with a Meta-approved template. Your ecommerce decides when a cart is abandoned and sends the template and its data with each notice, such as the customer's name, the product and the cart link. The connection is built by whoever develops your store, or by a tool like Shopify Flow, and enabling your account is arranged with yavendió!.

To use it you need an online store with a cart, such as your own website or Shopify, connected to yavendió!. The abandoned-cart notice comes from that store: without that connection, no message is sent.

Your ecommerce

Decides when a cart is abandoned and sends the notice with the template and its data.

yavendió!

Sends the WhatsApp and keeps each send in the history.

The screen

Part What it is
Trigger The endpoint address and a dedicated API key, shown in full only once.
Message You pick an approved template and see the technical name that goes in the notice.
Turn cart recovery on Turns the sends on or off.
Send history Date, template, masked phone and status.

Status of a send

Each send in the history is Sent, Delivered, Read, Failed or Discarded. A notice is discarded, with nothing sent, when recovery was off, when the cart is older than 6 hours or when the conversation with that customer was paused. The same cart never produces two WhatsApps even if your ecommerce sends the notice twice.

Status What it means
Sent Meta accepted the message.
Delivered It reached your customer's phone.
Read Your customer read it.
Failed It could not be sent.
Discarded Not sent: recovery was off, the cart was stale or the chat was paused.
6 hnotice lifetimean older cart is discarded

Template and cost

The message goes out with a Meta-approved WhatsApp template, and Templates has a ready-made one, Recover cart, in the Marketing category, with the customer's name, the products, the total and the cart link. Each send is a template message, so it carries Meta's cost. There is no test mode: tests go to real phones on your team.
