The Wholesale module: minimum order, volume pricing, how variants count, stock, what your seller does and shipping by pieces.

What it is
Wholesale is a module in Your business modules, in your account. With I sell wholesale on, each product's price is set as «from N units at X each»: it is the price your customer sees in the catalog and in the chat, and orders below the minimum are rejected. A product with no minimum order is still sold by the unit.

Volume pricing
Bands that lower the price per unit.
Message
What your seller says if they ask for less.
Minimum order
Minimum purchase quantity is the minimum order; the price you publish is the unit price when buying exactly that quantity. If the customer asks for less, the order is rejected with the message you wrote, for example "Our minimum order is 20 units per model."

On each product you decide whether your customer can mix colors, sizes or options to reach the minimum (Yes, they add up) or whether the minimum applies to each one separately.
Volume pricing
With Add band you set From (units) and Price per unit: the larger the quantity, the lower the price per unit.

A price by quantity can also be set as a By quantity promotion.
Stock
If stock does not reach the minimum order, the product (or the variant) shows as unavailable in the catalog until you restock.
What your seller does
If you sell cheaper by quantity, your seller offers that price automatically. The price at the minimum is the one the customer sees in the catalog and in the chat.
- Offers the price from the minimum order.
- Lowers the unit price by band.
- Rejects orders below the minimum with your message.
Shipping by pieces
If you sell wholesale, each shipping type can have a Minimum pieces per order, which counts every piece in the order even across different products, and a Free shipping from (pieces). Empty means no minimum. Free shipping by pieces does not show when shipping is Charged by the courier.
Turning the module off
Turning Wholesale off keeps the volume prices your products already had.
