Zones and shipping types
In Shipping & timing you set up Shipping zones. Each zone has a name, the Regions covered (states, cities, districts or neighborhoods) and its Shipping types, such as motorcycle courier, agency or store pickup. A zone can be paused or duplicated. Your AI seller uses this to tell your customer whether you reach their area, how, what it costs and when it arrives.
In Peru and Brazil, shipping types come ready with their usual details (such as motorcycle courier, agency or store pickup). In other countries they are built with Custom / Other. Everything they bring can be changed.

What each shipping type has
Each shipping type has its Shipping cost, its Delivery times (the days you deliver and, per time slot, the Customer promise, such as «Arrives today before 6pm»; plus one for Other times), its Payment method, the Required information your seller asks the customer for and optional Additional shipping rules.
| Section | What it sets |
|---|---|
| Shipping cost | What your customer pays for shipping. |
| Delivery times | Which days you deliver and what your seller promises. |
| Payment method | Whether they pay before, on delivery or part upfront. |
| Required information | What your seller asks the customer for. |
| Additional shipping rules | Extra instructions for your seller on that option. |
Shipping cost
On shipping types where you can edit the cost, Shipping cost offers Free (shipping costs nothing and your seller says so), Fixed (a single amount) and Range (a minimum and a maximum amount). If you see Charged by the courier, it is for when your customer pays shipping directly to the courier.
| Cost | What your seller says |
|---|---|
| Free | That shipping costs nothing. |
| Fixed | A single amount. |
| Range | An amount between a minimum and a maximum. |
| Charged by the courier | That shipping is paid separately, to the courier. |
With Charged by the courier, your seller says shipping is paid separately, to the courier, and does not add it to the order. You can add a short Reference (up to 60 characters), for example «rate by destination». With this cost there is no free shipping above an amount.
Free shipping above an amount
Shipping is free when the products total is greater than the amount you set: with 150, a purchase of exactly 150 pays shipping. The calculation subtracts promotions and does not include the shipping cost.
The free-shipping amount applies only to the shipping option where you set it, not to all your options.
Payment method
When your customer pays is set on each shipping type, under Payment method: Prepaid (they pay before you ship the order), Cash on delivery (they pay on receipt) or, for pickup, Pay in store. With Allow partial payments, they pay only a Minimum upfront, as a percentage or a fixed amount; the order shows as Partial, with the amount still owed.
Information your seller asks for
In Required information you choose what your seller asks your customer for on that shipping type: name, phone, email, ID document, address, city and state or department, location, pickup agency and free questions. If a connected integration requires a piece of information, it stays fixed.

Store pickup
Store pickup has no shipping cost. It holds a Pickup point (name, address and, if you like, a Google Maps link), the Opening hours for each day and a Pickup lead time: in how many minutes, hours or business days the order is ready and an optional cutoff time, after which it is ready the next day. From that, the promise your seller gives the customer is built automatically. There, payment can be Pay in store.
Additional rules and fallback option
Additional shipping rules are free text, at the end of each shipping type, with instructions for your seller about that option: how it is paid, what to answer if the customer is outside the coverage area, and so on.
With Use only as a fallback on, your seller does not offer that option up front and only suggests it when no other option in that zone works for the customer.
Wholesale orders
If you sell wholesale, each shipping type can have a Minimum pieces per order, which counts every piece in the order even across different products, and a Free shipping from (pieces). Empty means no minimum. Free shipping by pieces does not show when shipping is Charged by the courier.
