Your seller searches your catalog for what the customer asks for and recommends your products.

What a product has

Each product has a name, a short description (10 to 1000 letters), photos, price, stock, Categories and Tags. If it comes in several sizes, colors or scents, each variant has its own price, stock and photos. A product or a variant can be Available or Unavailable: what is Unavailable stays in your catalog, but your seller does not offer it.

Variants

Size, color, scent: each with its own price, stock and photos.

Stock

No limit or a set quantity.

Categories and tags

Group products and help you filter and scope promotions.

Product types

When you create a product you choose what it is. Clothing or shoes is built by colors and sizes, with the photos of each color and the stock of each combination. Something else has one price and one stock, or options such as size, flavor or presentation, each with its own price and stock.

Clothing or shoes

Colors, sizes and photos per color.

Something else

Price and stock, or options like size or flavor.

Categories are created in the Categories field of the product sheet: you pick an existing one or type a new one and create it. There is no separate categories screen.

Stock and availability

Stock works in two ways: I don't keep count (no limit) or I have a quantity, which is marked sold out at 0. When a size or a color reaches 0, your seller offers another one. If an order was sold without enough stock, Orders shows it as Oversold.

Status What your seller does
Available Offers it and sells it.
Sold out (at 0) Offers another size, color or option.
Unavailable Does not offer it. It stays in your catalog.

Photos

Each product takes up to 8 photos or videos: JPG or PNG photos and MP4 or 3GPP videos up to 16 MB. Photos over 5 MB that you upload from the dashboard are optimized automatically to under 5 MB. The first photo is the cover your seller sends.

The card shows a color's photo only if that variant has its own photo and the seller identifies which variant the customer asked for. If it does not, the product's first photo goes out, which may show another color. If the requested variant has no photo of its own, another color's photo never goes out: a product photo with no color assigned does or, if there is none, only the name and price. In yavendió! products, load each color's photos in Photos per variant.

What your seller uses

Seller help, in the product sheet, is what your seller uses when asked about that product: a Detailed description and its own Frequent questions. Without it, it answers only with the name, price and short description.

Detailed description

What the customer wants to know about the product.

Frequent questions

The product's own questions, with photos or videos.

When a customer asks about a product, the seller answers with the frequent questions in its Seller help and can send the photos or videos you attached, if you published them: unpublished, it does not use them. If they were published and it did not send them, tell Yago in which conversation it happened.

4photos or videosper question

Your seller sends your customers the photos and videos of your products.

Your seller reads the description of the products it finds and uses it when answering. If you wrote a price, a discount, a date or a size chart in a description, change it too when you change the price or a promotion ends: changing the product's price does not change that text.

Loading your products

Products are loaded in three ways: one by one with New product; in bulk with Import, From Excel (Excel or CSV up to 10 MB) or From PDF (a catalog or price list up to 20 MB and 110 pages, from which AI extracts the products and you review them before loading); or synced from an integration, such as Shopify or an ERP.

New product

One by one.

From Excel

Excel or CSV, up to 10 MB.

From PDF

A catalog or price list, up to 20 MB and 110 pages.

Integration

Your catalog syncs on its own.

Catalog from an integration

A product showing Product managed by and your ERP's name gets its price, stock and availability from that ERP, which updates them on its own. Those details are changed in the ERP's dashboard.

Your plan's product limit

If your plan has a product limit, when you reach it you see You've reached the product limit. You can keep editing and updating the products you already have, but to add new ones, by hand or imported from Shopify, you need a plan with more capacity.

What your customers ask for and you don't have

When a customer asks in the chat for an item, a size or a color you don't have, or something sold out, yavendió! saves it with that part of the conversation; only requests that are clearly understood count. With 2 or more in 7 days, it alerts you in the bell, by email and, if you accepted, by WhatsApp. You see them in Products, under "See what they asked for", grouped by product; if one doesn't apply, tap "Doesn't apply" and the product leaves the list.
