Seller templates
What a seller template is, which ones exist, where they are, what changes when you bring one in and how to publish your own.
"Template" can mean one of two things: a seller template (a ready-made seller to import) or a WhatsApp message template (approved by Meta, for campaigns or for writing outside the 24 hours).
What it is
A seller template is a seller setup ready to import: greeting, flows, rules and delivery zones designed for a business type. It does not copy your products, prices, contacts or payment details. There are three origins: official ones from yavendió!, mentors' and the community's.
From Yavendió
The official ones for your country.
From mentors
Published by mentors, marked Official mentor.
From the community
From other businesses that published theirs.
Where they are
Templates show up when you create your seller, in Choose a template, in rows: From your mentor (if you came with one), From Yavendió, From mentors and From the community. Later they are in Seller → Templates, with the catalog of published templates and the Got a code? field. With a code you can bring in any template, from any country, in its latest version.
What changes when you bring one in
Bringing in a template replaces your setup, except your business information (My business) and your payment methods. The products, prices and contacts of the business that published the template are not copied either.
In Choose what to import you tick which parts to bring in. Whatever you untick stays as it is:
Configuration
How it talks and sells, its rules and when it hands off to a person.
Shipping and delivery times
Zones, shipping types and the data it asks for.
Flows and Rules
The steps of the sale, start to finish.
The template is applied to your seller's draft: your customers keep getting the published version until you publish. The other seller's photos and products are not imported: yours stay as they are.
After importing a template, review your setup again before publishing. For example, the welcome message comes included and may name another business: replace it with yours.
An applied template cannot be removed. That is why it pays to choose the sections in Choose what to import carefully and to review your setup after bringing it in.
Publishing your template
If your seller already sells, you can publish your own template with Publish my template and see it in My templates. Whoever publishes it decides whether it is listed in the catalog or only shared by its code. Each new publication is a new version of the same template. Like any template, it does not carry your products, prices, contacts or payment details.
